Bachelors or Masters Degree in the area of Electrical / Computer Engineering/Computer Sciences or Telecom from a reputed University.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for operation and maintenance of all VAS platforms and servcies.
Strong knowledge of both Telco Based VAS platorms & services, also IT based VAS services.
Good knowledge of basic GSM architecture and entities.
Ensure contract management for all VAS platforms and services.
Ensure that all Service Level Agreements are in place and adhered to.
Participation in VAS related support activities for troubleshooting and resolution of issues as well in operationalactivities to support other dependant units.
Generating performance reports and taking actions based on these reports.
Ensure VAS KPIs are met and suggestions/actions are taken to improve the performance.
Work with commercial and planning units to secure operational delivery against the current, upcoming platforms and services.
Manage VAS operations team efficiently; work to develop further competences to handle current & new challenges.
Engage with VAS Operations team to ensure talent retention and recognition.
Ensure effective communication & co-ordination within Technology Operations Department, Planning Department, Customer Care and Commercial Divisions for smooth operations of VAS portfolio.
Manage complaints from other business/customer units regarding any VAS node; including the preparation of usage stats and analytical reports.
Participation in showing innovation/out-of-box thinking to bring value to the unit
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
7+ years of experience with atleast 4 or more years of experience in Operations
Extensive work experience on VAS, Telecom System architectures and VAS products.
Should have good understanding of operational processes and procedures.
Ability to do financial forecasting for operations related work.
Stakeholder- relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Ability to manage and lead skilled teams.
Ability to work in challenging environment.
Ability to work under stress
