• HSE Specialist - Telenor - Islamabad

    The main purpose of this position is to provide lead support to Assistant Manager HSE (Supply Chain) in supply chain SCP risk monitoring and liaison with departmental auditors and line managers in risk reduction and meeting LTSE ambitions. Other key roles include incident reporting on BA share point, ABC contractual implementation, SCP risk assessment of suppliers, rolling out annual SCP risk assessment plan, conducting v learning modules for suppliers, awareness session for supply chain on OHS&E hazards and risks, developing guidelines for suppliers, developing initialimprovement plan for suppliers and input in NFR annual and monthly.

    Experience Required:     
    GSM field auditing experience. Engineering roll-out experience. 3 to 5 Years
    Must be able to communicate problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to superiors and stakeholders.
    Interpersonal skills.
    Communication skills in English (both verbal & written). Presentation Skills.
    Good computer knowledge in general and specifically in Microsoft Office products 3 to 5 Years
    Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental International Standard, ILO Conventions, Pakistan Labour Laws and regulatory requirements. 1 to 2 Years
    Knowledge of tools like hazard identification risk assessment and control, permit to work, lockout and tag out, material safety data sheet etc 1 to 2 years
    Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

    Knowledge Areas:     
    Knowledge & experience in International HSE standards & auditing standards, Pakistan labour laws and Social Accountability standard.
    Maintain a regular and efficient support with internal stakeholders and external interested parties on HSE related issues.
    Ability to lead and guide others in a collaborative work environment.
    Skill in analysis, developing alternative courses of action, and decision making.
    Ability to establish and document procedures.
    Ability to manage individual and group projects.
